Tattoo prices

A lot of factors affect the price forming. The choice of a tattoo artist is extremely important. It is clear that an experienced and talented artist will have a higher price list in comparison with other not so skilled artists. There is a simple explanation - quality work and skills of a professional cannot be cheap.

Prices of the beginners for their first works will be lower, compared to the artists, who have long been engaged in the world of tattooing. These are the criteria by which the specialist will assess the future work: design and difficulty of the work, style, size of the tattoo, sometimes the placement is also taken into a consideration.

Choosing an artist

A lot of people are surprised and puzzled by the price of tattoos. The potential client is faced with one question: "Do I need to pay a lot of money for the quality work of a trusted specialist or is it better to save money and contact a beginner?

Don't forget that tattoos are permanent! Not the best looking tattoo isn't the worst that can happen, if you decide to go to a beginner. You don't know if they follow all the rules of sterilisation, use quality consumables and simply store their equipment right. Save yourself from medical bills and painful(and expensive) laser tattoo removals.

A diploma, home-like atmosphere and affordable prices for services can draw your attention to a beginner tattoo artist. However, a reasonable question may arise: why do they charge less, than people in this business? Do they not have enough experience? Are they trying to save money and buy less quality consumables?

Of course, there are some talented and responsible artists, that don't skip any of the necessary steps in protecting your and their health. But are you sure it's the one you've found on the internet? Don't forget to check out their portfolio and ask about their experience. Remember - safety first!

Difficult tattoos

The level of difficultness of the tattoo highly influences its price. The main factors are: is it a colour or a black&grey one; the amount of shadowing and its techniques required; is it a 3D tattoo or a simpler one.

For example, realistic tattoos! Perfecting this style takes years of studying and ages of practicing. Not every tattoo artist can (or wants) to reach this level of tattooing, but if you, as a client, want to get a good quality realistic tattoo, note that it can't be cheap and go through the artist's portfolio very thoroughly.

Tattoo size

Tattoo size is a significant factor that forms the price of work. The specialist multiplies the image length by its height to determine the approximate price. After that, the result is multiplied by the cost of one square centimeter. It should be noted that there is one nuance: the larger the size of the image, the lower the price per square centimeter.

The difficulty of implementation is also fundamental. If the image is very detailed, then its cost is usually estimated on the basis of the complexity of the technique but not of the size. The price of such work will be negotiated. Only after the sketch artist can figure out a more accurate price.

Color palette and places to get a tattoo

What else can form a price? The place where the tattoo will be located, the number of colors, the quality of pigments - all these elements form a price. Anesthetic can have a small effect on the final price. You can contact us for a consultation in a convenient way: text or call. You can always come to us personally and get approximate prices for tattoos in our salon "VEAN".
